I have always loved traveling, running, outdoor adventure, yoga, and healthy lifestyle. While on a run with a group of friends in Boston in 2012, it dawned on me that others might love the combination of travel and adventure too. That's how Running Treks came about.
In addition to organizing adventure travel with my international partners and friends, I am a yoga instructor, running coach, and neuromuscular therapist in Boston, MA, practicing at my center, East West Massage Boston. I specialize in treatment of athletic injuries.
I have been fortunate to have friends and partners all over the world after studying and living in Europe, Asia, United States and Australia. I draw on my international contacts and their experiences to pick our travel destinations.
As a yoga therapist specializing in Yoga for athletes, I have been leading yoga workshops since 2003, combining different styles of yoga to suit different needs. As a RRCA-certified running coach, my coaching perspective comes primarily from the bio-mechanical analysis of an athlete's posture, functional movement, gait, stride, and movement compensation patterns.
If I am present on one of our trips, I try to add to your experience by teaching therapeutic yoga classes to the participants, and making suggestions on running mechanics and injury prevention.
