You can visit and enjoy our website without disclosing any personal information about yourself. However, we offer services, and for you to take advantage of any of these services, we will need you to share with us certain personal information about you including, but not limited to, first and last name, billing address, e-mail address, telephone number(s). Any personal information that you share with us (and with the business partners that help this site function) is kept absolutely private.
Running Treks and its representatives have taken great care to avoid and prevent potential hazards and pitfalls that may confront runners, hikers, and tourists in new places.
Under no circumstances do Running Treks and its representatives accept any liability for any mishap, loss, or injury sustained by any participant on any Running Treks tour.
Travel Insurance Policy
Running Treks is not providing Travel Insurance. Participants may take out their own Travel Insurance policy for the duration of their travel. It's recommended but not required.
Health Insurance Policy
Participants are encouraged to consult their health insurance provider about extending their medical coverage in the country they will be traveling to as soon as they register for the tour. Running Treks representatives are not responsible for any illness that may befall any participant during their tour.
Minimum age for all Running Treks tours is eighteen years old. Individuals of fifteen years of age and over may participate only if accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian.
Smoking, Drugs, and Alcohol
Smoking is not allowed in any of the buildings of our Hosts, nor do we allow it in the open-air dining area. If you’re a smoker, be prepared to smoke outside.
Sensible use of alcohol is allowed but Running Treks staff reserve the right to make the tour “dry” if its presence becomes a problem. Missing out on a day of running, hiking, or cultural exploration because you are hung over is not only a loss to you, but is disrespectful to our staff and your fellow tour participants.
It will be greatly appreciated if participants arrive before or stay after their Running Treks tour to 'indulge their senses' to their heart's content outside of the Tour's timeframe.
