Running & Yoga Retreat at Mancos, Colorado, High Altitude Running Camp

At almost 8,000 feet in elevation, Mancos, Colorado is the ideal place to train for distance runners. This high altitude training center is part of The Mancos Project, which is that area's running club.

The center is located close to many great trails and dirt roads. There is also a track in Mancos for workouts. The Mancos center is ideal for athletes looking for a high altitude training stint.

The bunkhouse is dorm-style with bunk beds and a common area which can be used for yoga practice. There is one single room with a queen bed which can be used as single occupancy. The luxury cabins can each sleep up to 6 people but can also be reserved ahead of time for a single person. Comfortable and all wood interior and exterior.

There is running water and electricity at all of the accommodations. Showers and full bathrooms are plentiful.

Further, there is a commercial kitchen with an outdoor BBQ! Throw in the ponds and endless dirt roads/trails, and you have yourself an amazing training destination.

We also have access to neighboring weight room facilities ten minutes away. In addition, we have access to two tracks that are nearby. One is dirt and the other is a modern rubber surface.
